MAKER CAMP DAY 8 – String & PVC instruments

Maker Camp Day 8:

For the second day of our Musical Week we build instruments out of chunks of wood, various fishing lines, screws, and PVC pipes. The String instruments went amazingly as the kids experimented with various lengths and thickness of fishing length to come up with different sounds.The PVC didn’t go as planned with us not finding the necessary materials to make the mallets, fortunately the students used their adaptability to make flutes out of them. Quite the potential bunch of kids.
